Peaches are important to get from the right farm! And over the years, after trying several different farms in the South, Pearsons is the one we have settled on for Southern peaches.
They truly grow and pack consistently the highest quality peaches that we have found in the South. Each year right before the harvesting starts, I call up one of the owners, Will, and catch up on how their year is going and the details of the new crop; and it’s one of my favorit calls of the year and nice to be on a first name basis with them.
They also grow some amazing pecans that we distribute all year long; and in the winter they work with growers a little south of them for Satsuma mandarin oranges. I love getting from them!
