FAQ
Do I have to pay to join?
Nope! It’s completely free to create an account and browse products.
How often do you deliver?
We typically deliver every 3-6 weeks depending on the area.
What types of products do you offer?
Farm-fresh produce, pantry staples, natural food closeouts, meats, dairy, bulk food, and so much more.
Why do I have to create an account before shopping?
Some of our prices are so low on closeout food that we are not allowed to publicly advertise them on the web. So, we ask people to create a basic, free account to browse our products and see pricing.
Can I return items?
We stand behind the food we deliver. If anything is spoiled or incorrect, we’ll make it right.
What is your credit policy for fresh produce?
We work hard to send you only quality food that will be delicious for your family, and we hope you enjoy everything you purchase from us! But in the rare event that you receive a box of fresh produce food that’s not up to par, please refer to the below policy for reporting the issue right away so that we can do our best to make it right. Thank you!
- Due to the sensitive nature of fresh produce, and it’s typically short shelf life, please check your produce at the drop off and let the driver know right away if the produce is not in good condition, or email us within 5 days. To help expedite processing your email request, send us photos of the spoilage and percentage of the case that was affected.
- As you sort through your produce, though, since we deal a lot with farm fresh produce and sometimes #2 grade, we appreciate a little give and take on produce not looking as perfect as the fruits and vegetables in grocery stores. We focus on reducing waste in America, which means that sometimes you’ll find skin deep blemishes on nutritious, delicious produce that we get directly from the farms who grow it.
Storing produce properly is very important, with not all produce having the same requirements. This article is a very helpful guide to it, and here are a few other tips:
- Dry out the condensation moisture right away on items that should be kept at room temperature, such as tomatoes, potatoes, onions, apples, etc. (A fan works well for this, or lay them out in a single layer on a counter.)
- Regularly sort through your box of produce to use or remove the pieces that are ripening the fastest.
